This outfit post will hopefully give you the impression of my general appearance, and the kind of things I like. I wore this on a lazy saturday afternoon, although due to the ‘summer’ weather we’ve been having, it was mostly hidden under my trusty wax jacket.
Basically, my style always has a childlike quality to it. And I don’t mean I like to wear whinnie the poo. A lot of my inspiration comes from books like the Secret Garden or Alice in Wonderland. Think lace, collar detailing, ankle socks, spots and flowers, with the occasional straw or bowler hat thrown in. I always try and wear at least one vintage piece, if not head to toe vintage, I like to mix the high street with vintage pieces as it keeps the look feeling fresh and fun.
I got this long blouse from ebay, it was a super bargain at £9 and i just couldn’t resist the rust colour. Teamed with the pretty lace collar it has a vintage feel, but still looks up to date. Im wearing it over a Vintage black lace slip, as it’s just a bit short on it’s own. (Apologies for my hair, I promise to get my roots sorted very soon!)
